4 Things that are Killing Your Business

Have you found yourself at a loss for why your business isn't booming the way you'd hoped or just know that the way you're going about it just ain't right? Growing a business is definitely not for the faint of heart and I’ve learned there are a couple of things that can definitely make that growth even harder or non-existent.

If you've been struggling in your business it's probably because your doing 1 of these 4 things.

The 4 Business Killers

1. Not monetizing enough

Whether you’re battling imposter syndrome or perfect-patty syndrome, delaying monetizing your business is a huge mistake because if you’re not selling to your target somebody else is.

2. Forgetting to pitch

The rule of thumb is always be selling! The point of content is to drive sales even if at the moment you’re not promoting a product you should be at least guiding them on the journey to becoming a customer so pitching a follow or joining your email or text list.

3. Doing Too Much

The reality is a jack of all trades is a master of none. Meaning if you don’t perfect how to sell one product or service how can you sell 10? So you need to FOCUS (Follow One Course Until Successful). Get perfect at one thing, automate it and then do it again and again.

4. Over-Complicating Your System

The most memorable thing I ever learned in life (and to be honest, I didn’t always follow) is to K.I.S.S, Keep It Simple Stupid. Don’t make it too hard the simpler the better, does that mean don’t add things to your business? Absolutely not!!! It means if it doesn’t make you money, save you time or market your business - it’s not worth it.

When building a business it’s important to make sure that you are taking actions that are helping your business and not harming it so if you’ve found yourself doing any of these things you need to make a change asap to get yourself on the right path.
