5 Way to Gain Confidence About What Your Audience Needs

Updated: Jul 31, 2022

It is practically impossible to develop messaging and marketing that appeals to your audience if you have no idea what it they want from you! If you've found yourself struggling to get your audience to buy what it is you're offering than this article is definitely for you.

What Do They Want?

This is a question that I've been seeing more and more online, usually posted by an entrepreneur that has already invested money into an expensive course[oy vey!} or purchased some other over-priced hack online, and my reaction is always that same...HOW! How are you spending money on business-growth hacks to serve an audience you know nothing about?

It literally makes me cringe!

The other disturbing part is that most often the person they've paid all this money to for the "Whatever Makes You A Millionaire Like Me Course" doesn't even address this person's question - they straight "leave them on read", most likely because they realize just how crazy it is that this person just paid them a heap of money for something that will be totally useless because they lack the basics.

So, I'm stepping in here...

5 Ways to Get to Know Your Audience

  1. Post a question with a call-to-action for the audience to comment with an answer

  2. Ask the question and invite them to dm you their answer it's a more personal approach

  3. Survey your current clients or members and ask them what they need from you

  4. Ask a biz buddy in a correlated industry where you can be helpful

  5. Read industry reports and case studies and anything you can get your hands on

Taking the time to figure just what your audience wants from you is an absolute must if you plan to remain confident enough to handle to ups and down of running a business.
