Email marketing is a great way to have direct contact with your audience. Acquiring email addresses (as known as List Building) is an absolute must if you’re ever going to pitch a product or service to your audience. After you’ve acquired the email addresses, you have to construct a subject line that will actually get your audience for open your email. Which is why right now I’m talking subject lines.
Key factors that make a subject line appealing to your audience and makes them want to open it are:
Needed information – Subject suggests the email contains information they want or need for their business
Customer-centric – Subject focuses on their needs or wants
Popular Demand – Subjects suggests that this is the latest and greatest thing since sliced bread and everyone who’s everyone is doing it
F.O.M.O (Fear Of Missing Out) – Subject creates a fear that they reader is going to miss something
Email is a valuable tool that pays off when you begin launching products or services and need an affordable, direct form of marketing. The key is to create an email that will get opened with links that will get clicked due to Calls-to-action (CTAs) that drive engagement.
